Summary/Abstract: Librarian of the University Foundation Charles I , later academician, Constantin Rădulescu-Motru presents two aspects of the first King of the Romanians, Charles I : a protector of the Romanian culture by the University Foundation and a creator of the Romanian foreign policy. Thus, the author succeeds in calling attention to the remarkable personality of Charles I.
