The resolution of the Regional Meeting on “Together against Bullying”, Oradea, June 6, 2017

Summary/Abstract: The Italian Cultural Center from Oradea organized, in partnership with the "Don Orione" High School Oradea, the "Together against Bullying!" Activity on June 6, 2017, in the Great Hall of the City Hall of Oradea. The event was structured as a round table. The purpose of the discussion was to establish a set of effective strategies to combat bullying, both within schools and other institutions in the community. Important educational actors sent their representatives to the meeting. As a result, a great number of specialists (school managers, academic staff, psychologists, representatives of the Church and the health system) expressed the ideas supported by important institutions such as the Bihor County School Inspectorate, the Greek Catholic Church, the Orthodox Church, the Oradea Community Social Administration, the General Directorate for Social Assistance and Child Protection Bihor, the Bihor County Police Inspectorate and the University of Oradea. The meeting was also attended by Violeta Birla, a movie director working in Italy. The round table was meant to enrich the ways of preventing and diminishing the bullying phenomenon in Bihor County and beyond.
