Summary/Abstract: The article presents the problems of changes in the electoral law in Hungary in the light of the introduction of the new Constitution in 2011. The first part of the article discusses how the Constitution was enacted and its content. Later, the author analyzes the effects of the changes in the law and political systems. The second part of the article focuses on the analysis of the procedure and outcomes of the changes in Hungarian electoral law after 2011. This reform was the first in the electoral field since 1990. The electoral law consists of constitutional regulations and Act CCIII of 2011 on the Elections of Members of Parliament of Hungary and Act XXXVI of 2013 on Electoral Procedure.
