POLITICAL ASPECTS OF THE INSURGENCY DOCTRINE

Summary/Abstract: The premise of this study is that the insurgency benefits from a political ideology and from people that act as political ideologues. The ability of modern insurgents of building their actions on previously announced strategic objectives has become common knowledge. This study builds on the critical approach of modern insurgency ideologues towards democracy and within this context some key concepts of their political ideology such as the Occident, the Caliphate.
