Summary/Abstract: The Cooperation and Verification Mechanism raises serious questions both in terms of efficiency, in itself, of the Mechanism, and of solidity of the legal basis invoked, including through the relevant provisions of the Lisbon Treaty, to not to mention general political and moral considerations. The continuing of the CVM for Romania and Bulgaria, in the 9th year of their membership of the EU, as it was conceived and implemented in 2006, it is presented in the year of grace 2015 as a political and institutional and legal exercise total exceeded anachronistic, and NOT for the considerations of relevance, in itself, of the pursued objectives, but through the concrete ways related to the design and implementation of the CVM.
