PUBLIC PROCUREMENT CORRUPT PRACTICE IN THE BULGARIAN MUNICIPALITIES

Summary/Abstract: The object of research in this article are public procurement in the Bulgarian municipalities. The subject focuses attention on the corrupt practices in the process of organization and implementation of the public procurements in the Bulgarian municipalities. The main research purpose is to identify, systematize and classify the corrupt practices in the organization and implementation of the public procurements assigned by the Bulgarian municipalities for buying goods and services offered by the private sector. The expected result is through the disclosure of these practices to create an environment for their prevention and avoidance of the adverse effects for the public sector and in particular for the municipalities. The secondary result is a more effective funds management in the municipal budgets.
