Summary/Abstract: The research subject of this study is precious metals. The focus is on the investment characteristics of precious metals, their market dynamics and trends. The research thesis has been formulated as follows: Investments in precious metals are an opportunity to achieve a return based on sustainable upward trends, taking into account market dynamics and correlation coefficients of price quotations of gold, silver, platinum and palladium. The purpose of the paper is to explore the possibilities of accounting for positive investment returns from operations with precious metals on the basis of stock market valuations, and accounting for the market dynamics and correlation coefficients of price quotations of gold, silver, platinum and palladium.
