Summary/Abstract: The message of this article is that people who lead the Romanian culture, in this particular case, those in charge of museums, must be carefully chosen. Those who do not appreciate the beauty of museums, do not understand the role of cultural information, who have no museum experience, skills, vocation or passion and who do not posses the culture needed to cover the whole domain which constitutes the institution's object should not be appointed to lead museums and decide their destinies.
