Summary/Abstract: Hacker subculture developed at the beginning of 1960s parallel with development of technological innovations. Inside hacker’s subculture grew new way of communication characteristic for members of this group only. Its function, at the first place, was to eliminate from communication all those who do not belong to this group, but also to emphasis existence of hacker’s culture in reality. This work originated from will to explain communication among members of hacker’s culture and its influence on everyday life. In today’s world technology came in all aspects of society so leetspeak became part of everyday interaction among people who do not have direct contacts with creating of technology, but only with consuming it.
