Summary/Abstract: Realizing the Gospel, the Church follows the footsteps of mercy, which Jesus Christ left, as well as those who followed him. The witness of Mercy is Antonina Schneider from the Congregation of Sisters of Charity; the memory about her is still alive in Lubawa. The article brings a reader closer to get acquainted with almost over 40-year Sister’s Ministry in Lubawa. The article includes Antonina Schneider’s involvement in “Kuppnera Fundation” among ill people, her charity and patriotic activity; moreover her efforts in saving the children placed in the secret camp which was located in Lubawa. Everything she did for the local inhabitants allows to name her a Sister of Charity with mercy-worn hands.
