Summary/Abstract: Networks are composed of three elements: nodes, connections and flow, where the nodes are separate points with connections in between, connections that are connecting these points with at least another point, and the flow is the traffic between these connected points. A network organization is formed by at least two participants involved in multiple exchange relations without a legitimate organizational authority who would resolve their eventual conflicts which can occur in the exchange relations. For the coming into existence information society, the so far observed characteristics are giving enough bases to, beside the two so far known and accepted basic patterns of organization (organic and mechanic) one can affirm that there is a third one, being a network pattern of society organization.
