Summary/Abstract: The author presents a complicated situation of a Moldavian Hospodarity in the 15th and 16th centuries as a typical borderline area. At the same time, on the basis of a correspondence between Jan Zamoyski, a Polish hetman and Jeremi Mohyła, a Moldavian hospodar, it shows and discusses the relations combining the Republic of Both Nations and Moldavian Hospodarity, presenting their various aspects (from patronage to cooperation). The material used allows for defining the nature of Polish influences in Moldavia in the period under investigation.
