Summary/Abstract: This paper deals with the contemporary phenomenon of information hyper production and increasingly difficult search for new information. Current information overload researches have examined effective countermeasures against the problems caused by information abundance. By synthesizing these researches we will make a list of satisfactory solutions to the problem of growing information supply. Measures against information overload can be examined at individual, socio-organizational, educational and professional level, each of which develops appropriate strategies. At the individual level, we can talk about strategies for better organization, planning, thinking and protection. At the social level, we can propose strategies for the reduction of social pressures and restraints. In the field of education, we should offer strategies for increasing the level of knowledge needed to face the complexity of information. Professional measures include: the development of a scientific and technical information system, web search engine improvement, description of new information services and computer programs for tracking information. We will give a short description of some aspects of information management, as well as a review of certain issues of information input, the importance of the library as a traditional source of information. We will also describe some methods of searching for information un the modern business.
