Summary/Abstract: The article describes the features and possibilities of using Maria Montessori’s teaching materials for mathematical development of children. It analyzes both the positive and the negative aspects of the formation of mathematical views in children in the Montessori’s pedagogical system. Its disadvantages are the lack of games, entertainment and development of creative abilities in children. During the study we developed a learning technology for math education of kids through games with Montessori’s teaching materials by the inclusion of elements of entertainment (fairy-tale characters, puzzles, problem-search situations).The approbation results of these methods showed that the experimental group of children had higher mathematical development indicators than the children in the control group.
