Summary/Abstract: It is possible to assert that moral foundations of Europe are general moral values. In the paper author attempted to find out the origins of these foundations, as well as their role in contemporary and future world. The author came to conclusion that a precondition for their preservation if a re-definition of the concept “being a European” in direction of one model of increasingly inclusive identity.
