Summary/Abstract: „Dobra Nowina” is a monthly published by the parish of Żory since October 2001.It contains the following sections: For a good start – introduction written by the editor-in-chief; God Speaks to You – reflections on Gospel readings; Topic of the Month – two articles related to the main topic of the issue; Interviews – with members of the parish community, musicians or other people representing various culture-related environments; From Parish Life – information from the life of the parish and its community; Baptisms, Masses for One-Year-Olds, Weddings, Funerals – information about schedule of ceremonies booked at the parish church; Swim out to the Depth of Youth – section with testimonies of life full of faith; In Short – about various events taking place in the parish; I Am God’s Child – addressed to children. The article presents development of the newspaper, creative critique arising from research based on surveys and editorial work within the editorial board.
