Summary/Abstract: The paper presents the rules guiding early retirement due to working conditions in selected EU Member States and how they compare to the solutions applied in Poland. The review shows differences not only in the rules of early retirement due to working conditions but also considerably different approaches adopted by countries with respect to jobs that entitle workers to apply for early retirement and the eligible age.
