Summary/Abstract: The article discusses the history of the villages belonging in the Middle Ages and in the Mo- dern Period to the estate Rudlice, also known as Ostrówek-Rudlice, located approx 15 kilometers from Wielun to the north. At the end of the eighteenth century to this property belonged Rudlice and villages Ostrówek (former Ostrow), Wola Rudlicka, Kuźnica and Dąbrówka farm. Of these, Rudlice with Kuźnica and Ostrowek have a metric medieval, while the remaining others were established in the Modern Period in the seventeenth and eighteenth century. Over the centuries they were in possession of representatives of families: Zajączek coat of arms Świnka, Ostrowski coat of arms Nieczuja, Brodnicki coat of arms Wieniawa, Rychłowski coat of arms Nałęcz, Kar- śnicki coat of arms Jastrzębiec and Tarnowski coat of arms Jelita. An interesting complex is preserved in Ostrówek, where in the manor park are relics of the manor house build on the mound in the seventeenth century and a brick mansion erected by Stanislaw Tarnowski before the First World War. In all these localities were also discovered archaeological artefacts, medieval and modern, confirming written sources. It is also worth paying more attention to the poor state of preservation of both brick manor house and its surroundings and the Tarnowski family tomb at the cemetery in Uników. They require urgent renovation work to have a chance to survive for future generation.
