Summary/Abstract: The Romanian literary blogs are resources for linguistic study, their terminology being today the language with the most spectacular ascent. As its contents are not restricted by a set of explicitly taught standards, they allow lexical innovations. They also contain a large number of new words that emerge into the Romanian vocabulary. Its dynamism is due to the permanent need of lexical renovation as a means of showing the bloggers’ originality. In this paper we shall analyse some aspects connected with Romglish (a new term introduced in Romanian which might be defined as a mixture between Romanian and English in the daily language, press and television), expressing the idea of superlative, interjections, slang and method of writing. Another aspect of our research is also an attempt to review the most frequent terms used by bloggers and which have become commonplace in the blogosphere. How were these introduced in the Romanian language, what changes did they undergo (if any), will these be known and adopted by the bloggers – are questions to which we’ll try to find some answers.
