Summary/Abstract: Terminology as a broad field of knowledge and science is designed to implement specific and profiled communication through a specific lexis which consists of terms and terminological systems in different fields. Terminology, as a specific system of terms is an integral part of every field of knowledge, science and productive activity, but linguistics is obliged to make the identification, procession and codification of the relevant terms within a terminological system. According to Helmut Felber, the terminology can be seen as a science and it is an interdisciplinary field of knowledge that has to do with the concepts and what they represent (terms, symbols), etc. It can be seen as a summary or as a system of terms that represents a whole system of concepts of a specific field, and their publication and promotion in the wide system of its users. According to A. Duro, the identification of the terminology as a system becomes complete only when it is seen in the case of the function of the terms that constitute it, as a marker of concepts of a particular field of knowledge. By giving a linguistic background to this issue, and by showing the real role of the language in the systematization of terminology, Hёna Pasho writes: "Terminology, as an integral part of the processes and functions of different branches of human activity, is very important as it takes part in the synthesis and generalization of knowledge on the essence of things, phenomena and processes in nature and society and, as a part of the applied linguistics, it leads the linguistics experience in these branches and reflects the manner in which the notions are organized and specified ".
