Work in the Protestant Tradition in Pedagogical Perspective

Summary/Abstract: Artykuł prezentuje podstawy teologiczne protestanckiej etyki pracy i jej implikacje pedagogiczne. Po pierwsze, przedstawia genezę specyficznego rozumienia pracy w tradycji teologicznej reformacji. Po drugie, rekonstruuje proces uświadomienia dotyczący pracy w środowisku protestanckim. Po trzecie, odczytuje protestancką etykę pracy z perspektywy pedagogicznej i jest wkładem do nowoczesnej teorii kształcenia i wychowania religijnego. The paper presents theological foundations of Protestant work ethics and its pedagogical implications. First of all, the origin of the specific understanding of work in the tradition of theological Reformation is described. Secondly, the paper reconstructs the process of developing awareness regarding the category of work in the Protestant environment. Thirdly, the article approaches the Protestant work ethics from the pedagogical perspective and makes contribution to the modern theory of religious education.
