USPOSTAVLJANJE KANCELARIJE EVROPSKOG JAVNOG TUŽIOCA PREMA LISABONSKOM UGOVORU
ESTABLISHMENT OF THE EUROPEAN PUBLIC PROSECUTOR OFFICE ACCORDING TO THE LISBON TREATY

Summary/Abstract: The author deals with the issue of establishment of the European Public Prosecutor Office in accordance with the provisions of the Lisbon Treaty. In this connection, the author first indicates the need for the existence of this supranational institution of the criminal persecution in order to protect the financial interests of the European Union, and then discusses the organization and functioning of the institutions according to the Proposal of the European Commission Regulation on the establishment of a European Public Prosecutor's Office. The author also points in the work on the basic objections made at the above-mentioned proposal, as well as answers of European Commission on these objections.
