Summary/Abstract: The dynamic reality of contemporary educational process of academic staff working in higher education of police personnel, requires the continuous development of scientific referentiality and professional competence. In this connection, in addition to the mandatory training of police personnel through a higher institutes of criminal law and criminalistics, academic staff have a legal obligation to realization of practical training. They are primarily related to the theme of practical courses that follow modern trends preliminary and investigative and through which educate future police personnel to carry out police activities. In addition to the practical training of students, which is the basis for future quality work, academic staff working in training police personnel needs through continuous training courses and seminars carried out by criminal police authorities have education with the aim of better understanding the current investigation models. In this sense, education criminally police authority is an important segment in the total education and the goal of this work is that the theoretical and practical aspects of attempts to define the actual situation in the area and offer a solution that would be useful for the improvement of police work through meaningful education. Accordingly, the paper will be analyzed levels of education have criminal police officers through the results of a survey conducted at the Center for Public Security Banja Luka police station Lazarevo. In addition, the paper will be presented to the Directorate for Police Education as an organizational unit responsible for training, education and professional training of police personnel.
