Summary/Abstract: The paper aims the understanding of a need to change the traditional class and change it with the help of massive open online courses. The objectives of the research are: establishing the main problems that a traditional class faces with; defining some solutions for switching from a traditional class to a more modern one; establishing the impact of MOOCs on people, in terms of personal or professional development. The methodology is based on a quantitative survey on 114 people from different countries and even different continents, given the fact that MOOCs are more spread in other countries that in Romania. The results are useful for managers or teachers from all over the world in an attempt to change the pattern of education.
