Summary/Abstract: What is writing in French, joining the open space of the Francophony? We shall not see this choice as a destiny, although those involved might like to call it so. We’ll imagine it as a mutation concerning the individual as a whole. As writing becomes a new way of life, the language is the expression of this profound and surprising way of being the same while becoming another. And what if writing in French is not necessarily being a francophone as a member of that respective community? Vintilă Horia and his controversial position might help us see beyond the usual interpretation.
