Summary/Abstract: The long epistolary dialogue between Princess Marthe Bibesco and l’Abbé Mugnier, touches issues related especially to religion and spirituality, literature, travel, politics, war, family life and daily events. We find a wealth of information on the life and literary activity of the Princess, the crucial moments of their lives as well as the time they cross. Therefore the epistolary dialogue of the Princess Bibesco with l’Abbé Mugnier reveals the many facets of her personality. There are letters in which we find her lyrical side wandering through descriptions worthy of the pages of a novel, her polemical side when it comes to fighting for the causes she is interested in, her authorial dimension in the letters dealing with artistic creation and its anxieties, or just her human side.
