Summary/Abstract: Caves in city of Banja Luka surroundings are worth objects of nature, some of which are legally protected, while for others there is undoubtedly a need for such means of protection. In addition to their morphological characteristics, there are biological ones. One of these natural objects is a cave in the river Suturlija canyon, slightly smaller in size and it is located above the village Sibovi near Banja Luka. By its location and characteristic environment, represents a potentially interesting object, especially for the study of bat fauna. On 29.08.2014. we visited the cave, and with the help of the "mist net" we caught six (6) individual bats, of which four (4) species were identified. Some of the species are located on a high degree of vulnerability to the list of IUCN (International Union for Conservation of Nature). The work is a continuation of research initiated by study “Cave fauna around Banja Luka” (Pasic et al., 2012).
