Summary/Abstract: The paper raises the issues of reconnaissance of ethno-cultural elements that are expressed and manifested even in time of war, whether by men or by women, by uniformed military or civilian, namely at a certain ethno- cultural realm. Interplay of ethno-cultural elements with events of war appears quite significant. It is noted that the ethno-cultural background of Deçan and its surroundings, keeps to itself and communicates many ethno- cultural elements, but the paper only brings some elements of culture and Albanian tradition, strongly manifested also in conditions of war. There is given importance of nameless, faceless women's contribution, but with deep meanings. No matter how popular, profane, secular and patriarchal is this phenomenon, it manifests the lack of feeling, or sense to mark the right arguments or to produce documents of value! The cited examples in this paper, suggest a communication and a deeper cooperation between social sciences, as shown fruitful and necessary. The wars need to be seen, analyzed and treated within its ethnocultural sole. Combat actions and results not only should be explored, but they must be understood and addressed carefully within the culture to which they belong and from which they stem. Ethno culture inherently sits near us, gives us identity and strongly supports the life events. Therefore the consumption and the treatment of ethno-culture should be applied with respect deserved!
