Summary/Abstract: This article presents a concrete educational experience on teaching religious multiculturalism to young citizens. In the region of Marseille this project was stated from 2003 to 2008 on the educational program, citizenship section, and encouraged by the General Council of Bouches-du-Rhône. The project for these junior students (11y-14y) was to visit monuments of the three monotheistic religions : Judaism, Christianity and Islam. The visits were followed by class interventions, which allow to deepen the secularism principle, the freedom of conscience and religious beliefs. These educational actions pursued two main goals : identifying differences and, thanks to our questioning on the place of religion in our societies, the goal of the common good. The testimonial analysis from students, teachers and parents reveals the assets of such an experience.
