Summary/Abstract: Through a new and daring theme, this Egyptian film was introduced to the screen in June, 2004. This film raised considerable arguments, as it exposed the marriage life of a Christian couple, belonging to different Christian denominations. This doctrinal difference cast a dark shadow upon both the intimate marital relationship and the family life in general. Basically, the victim is a child named Naim, ten years old, who is passionately fond of cinema movies, but faces an objection from the father who believes that acting is a road leading to hell. According to the father, enjoying life on earth leads to hell, as well as the joy of legitimate sexual intimacy in a marital relationship. This work of cinema finds a robust solution for this psychological problem which has different negative impacts.
