Summary/Abstract: Nowadays, criminal bodies must deal with cases from a wide range of domains, which refer to financial crimes, those against financial interests of European Union, crimes related to capital market, IT crimes or intellectual property law-related, which means that only “pure” criminal law information is no longer sufficient. In this context, but without trying to be exhaustive, the paper analyses some aspects related to liens between criminal law and insolvency, such as the representation, during the criminal trial, of a legal person in insolvency and the role of insolvency professionals related to such criminal trial; the incidence of interim measures on the insolvency procedure and the civil action against a legal person in insolvency.
