Summary/Abstract: In this paper we intend to present the determination of the main financial indicators which can be characterized profitability and sustainability of investment projects. Financing projects from EU funds is conditioned by economic and financial assessment. Projects with objectives in regional development, reducing unemployment and human resource development have priority Financial sustainability involves a positive cumulative cash flow for each year of the projection. If the project will record a negative net flow in at least one year of the forecast then require financial support.
