Summary/Abstract: The article examines the changes in EU law related to retail investors protection which determined the adoption of new regulations with regard to pre-contractual information presented to retail investors in investment and insurance products. The basic requirements provided by Regulation (EU) No 1286/2014 on key information documents for packaged retail and insurance-based investment products are highlighted.
