Summary/Abstract: The article deals with legal issues of mechanisms for protection of rights of private parties in the Court of Justice of the European Union. The research helps to understand the possibilities for Ukrainian private parties to protect their legal interests in the European Union. It is highly important in the context of entering into force of Association Agreement between the EU and Ukraine. The research is based on case law of the Court of Justice of the European Union and of the general Court of the European Union.
