Summary/Abstract: Based on the aforementioned, it is certainly necessary to transfer knowledge of new IT technologies and their activity in archives. First of all, the archivist is the one who has to work on the meaningful integration of new developments in the intormatic technology sector into existing systems, ie to develop new performances, concepts and ideas of use in archives. This can be done: only the one who knows the archivist, and that is archivist. If there is a justified increase in the valuation of technical components in this massive form, it remains to be seen. But without a doubt the archivists are irreplaceable in activities such as: valuing, arranging, giving information, etc. in historical activities and activities in the field of auxiliary sciences. It is questionable that both the archivists and the technical field must be self-responsible and competent. All archives have an EDVstruck or at least one of their own affiliates, and perhaps archivists should, after elaborating the basic strategy, try to intensify their efforts to get them into technical affairs to provide access to other tasks. It might be interesting to have a working group responsible for this area under the guidance of one of the technically intruded archivists. It is clear that such solutions, based on different conditions, can not be valid for all archives and that they have to be taken individually. On the other hand, one has to emphasize once again that in this whole euphoria of a new technician, they should not forget the traditional activities of the archivist.
