Summary/Abstract: The main goal of a high school lecturer is the formation of creative personality, but not a formal transfer of knowledge to students. The student already in higher school must be able to adapt to changing economic conditions. This goal can be achieved only if the students are actively involved in coursework: get ready for the lectures and read the lectures themselves, eagerly ask their lecturers and their colleagues, say their opinion concerning the studied subject, etc. The goal of this study is to provide critical thinking methodology and the possibilities of its application in studying Management subjects after having named the concrete students’ future work objects. Training of graduates is closely related to the interests of the employers - to hire managers, who have not only expert knowledge of the art of management, planning, finance, marketing techniques, but are also able to effectively apply them in a specific environment. The research shows that the general requirements of the employers for the vacant position are competence and personal qualities. The managers trained using the program will be necessary for industrial and commercial companies, universities and others. The common goals of Business Management degree program are to help the student to master the knowledge, shaping management competencies, to gain general management skills necessary for independent work and to learn to apply them creatively in a constantly changing environment. Teaching business management issues, the most widely accepted form of studies - creating the assumptions of learning opportunities. Here, the informational, operational (practical) and creative methods are applied and frontal (lectures, workshops, seminars), group (discussions, projects) and individual (consultation, use of the Internet) teaching forms are used. Teaching Management subjects under this form for several years the lecturers are trying to improve classroom work. Students have the opportunity to use the part of independent time for preparation and to read a lecture on the chosen topic during the classes. It is necessary to help the students, studying management issue, to get orientated how to use all production factors in business (labour, capital, natural resources, information, entrepreneurship and thinking). After graduating from high school they must be able to make decisions, take risks, get orientated in the market, be able to make prognosis and evaluate business results. The methodology presented in this paper provides the possibility to develop students’ critical thinking. Therefore, during the workshops the students are offered to self-explore the possibility of taking any business. Students present their approach according to the presented problem’s analysis stages and present their solutions. Solving the problem the students should summarize: the purpose, assumptions, implications and consequences, information, concepts, attitudes, considered question and then make the conclusions.
