Summary/Abstract: Nowadays assessment is a very important part of the education process. It is a permanent integral and planned process designed to measure individual progress and to stimulate self-examination and perfection. The aim of this work is to identify schoolchildren’s attitudes to cumulative assessment used in physical education lessons. Cumulative assessment is a rather new and almost unexplored form in the science of education. Study results show that most of schoolchildren like cumulative assessment used in physical education lessons. It is evident that senior schoolchildren like it more than junior schoolchildren.
