Summary/Abstract: The work has the empirical character and concerns between strategies of coping stress and effectiveness of therapy the dependences of at alcoholics. It the advices to investigation of strategy coping stress were applied was Ways the of Coping Questionnaire R. Lazarus and S. Folkman as well as two inquiries of own construction to opinion the feeling of sense of participation in therapy as well as the length it duration the abstinence. The therapy be based on psycho - bio - social model of dependence worked out by J. Mellibruda and co-operating from him the members of Institute of Heals Psychology of Polish Psychological Society. It was has given an examination was 36 alcoholics twice, before and after therapy. The results of conducted investigations on the ground were it been possible to affirm that the leaning on conception of psychological mechanisms of dependence therapy is effective therapy. The person the addicted to of liquor and the strategies of advice after end of basic programme choose already me with stress to be well - versed in problematically and they make the sense the larger feeling of duration in therapy.
