Summary/Abstract: The article deals with the formation of the complex symbolism Combined shoulder mark. We analyze the content of symbols and traditions of its compliance with military symbols of the state. It is noted that the introduction of combined sleeve sign was among the first steps to a military symbols of Ukraine.
