Summary/Abstract: During the rescue excavations in the year 2009, on the site Jaričište 1 in the area of the Mining Basin Kolubara, near the village Mali Borak, the skeletal remains of four inhumated deceased were registered. The anthropological analysis of these remains showed that these were one adult woman (about 40 years of age) and three children 3, 6 and 7 years old respectively. The woman and the seven-year old child were buried together оn the floor of a pit-house. The absolute dating of these finds indicated that, although buried in the same grave, these two individuals possibly were not interred simultaneously. However, in spite of the fact that the burials probably were not simultaneous, it is possible that there was an intention to bury them together, since the latter grave did not disturb the previous inhumation.
