Summary/Abstract: Article is devoted to history Siberian “litvins” the end of XVI – the beginning of the XVIII centuries. The concept “Lithuania” appeared in the Late Middle Ages, designating at first citizens of Grand Duchy of Lithuania, and then the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth. Litvins took part in political and economic development of Siberia and the Far East. They made an essential contribution to formation special “the Tobolsk type of culture” (characteristic and for other cities of Western Siberia), uniting the European and Asian traditions. Class assimilation Siberian litvins came to the end in 1725 when “the Lithuanian list” was officially abolished and the staff list of “sluzhily” army is entered.
