Summary/Abstract: The author analyzes the importance of the emotional memory in the performance devising process and brings many arguments collected from her practical experience and from the written research and work of some of the greatest theater practitioners and masters. Because the actor, in his bio-psycho-social unit has no other gadgets in his creative development than his body, spirit and education, he has to pay a great deal of attention to each of them. In this complex, the actor`s psyche, it’s inner universe that it is both complex and paradoxical is a source for the creative panel and a motor for action. Emotional memory plays, thus, a decisive part in the stage development of an actor.
