Summary/Abstract: This article attempts to show the perception and reconstruction of nature in the poetry of the Canary Islands poet Andrés Sánchez Robayna. Considering the different perception of nature by an islander, the special point of view in Robayna’s poetry will be represented by my translations of his poems into Turkish and his standing in the tradition of “pure poetry” in modern European and Spanish poetry will be determined through an analysis of his main works.
