Summary/Abstract: The article presents the remarks made while reading the short story The Judgementby Franz Kafka. The author does not undertake discussion with the model interpretations ofthe work widely accepted by critics, but he refers to some suggestions and opinions whichKafka left in his correspondence and a diary. Due to them, the interpretation regardingconnections of Kafka’s works with the kabbalah mysticism, present in today’s Kafkology,can be undertaken.
