Summary/Abstract: The topic of this study is an analysis of the diminutives and diminutive pleonasms as stylematical lexemes through which hypocorism is presented. With this study we intent to point on the effects of style of the naratory method of Petar Kocic, accomplished by the usage of diminutives and diminutive pleonasms . Therefore our primary goal will be to observe these categories from the aspect of their secondary meaning. The usage of diminutives with their hypocorical meaning in the narratives of Petar Kocic is motivated, from one side, with expressive coloring of the lingual expression, and from the other, with an intent to blend the emotional attendance into the thematical borders of the work.
