Summary/Abstract: Innovative aspects in curriculum design in primary classes, beginning since 2012-2013 year, suppose new openings from the perspective of curriculum design utilization in unfolding of the teaching, learning and evaluation activities. The fundamental change consists in the way how pupils discover knowledge, through the transfer from one discipline knowledge to knowledge of multi-disciplinary, pluri-disciplinary and trans-disciplinary type. Because of this the process of learning is restructured, adapted and requires a more and more complex and elaborated space, having the purpose to: continuously stimulate the learning through discovery made by children; development of the capacity to realize quick and efficient transfers among different disciplines; identification, synthesis and systematic and integrated use of knowledge, abilities and competences. The innovative modality to design and integrated curriculum, supposes the synthesis and didactic organization of contents from different areas of knowledge, helps the pupil to form a coherent and unitary image about the external world. In this study we will analyze the correlations existent between traditionally teaching and integrated teaching using efficiently the multimedia means at primary classes. Premises from which we start are: the integrated curriculum supposes to create significant connections between topics and competences that are commonly formed separately, inside each discipline, utilization of multimedia means in the teaching process contributes to formation of some values and attitudes that are related with daily reality of the pupils; correlations of didactic strategies and of TIC means adapted to integrated teaching for an authentic and efficient learning such as: learning through debate, learning through research, learning through problem solving, learning based on the project method, learning by adventure/expeditionary type.
