Education of Social Workers in Ukraine

Summary/Abstract: The intention of the presented article is to clarify the situation in the field of social workers university education in Ukraine, taking into account all social and political changes. The first part of the article aims at introducing the origins of beginning and development of social workers university education in Ukraine. The second part, based on analysis of available governmental conceptual and strategic documents, we clarify the crucial influence of the state policy in the field of university education on the current state of social workers education.
