Summary/Abstract: The article focuses on the problem of the adequate assessment of the significance of selected existential conditions affecting the functioning of people in social roles. It emphasizes the importance of selected circumstances of the lives of people at risk of demoralization. A systemic approach is recommended, related to the multiplicity of interconnections between different spheres of life.
