Summary/Abstract: Gym training plays an important role in improving the quality of professional and psychological training of students of maritime schools, which is the main component of the entire system of training future professionals of maritime and river transport. The purpose of this article is to highlight the psychological aspects of simulator training of students of Kherson State Maritime Academy to work in extreme conditions using the educational and training complex "virtual real-vessel marine industry". Classes for trainer-simulators BOSIET (Basic Offshore Safety Induction & Emergency Training), HUET (Helicopter Underwaterescape Training), FOET (Further Offshore Emergency Training) allow to prepare future professionals of river and sea transport to work in high-risk conditions and ensure a high level of psychological preparation of cadets based on the optimization of human resources, including mental, physical and intellectual.
