The role of spirituality in process of drug addicts’ treatment

Summary/Abstract: The article presents the issue of the spirituality’s perception by drug addicts who have completed treatment in the catholic center. The specificity of drug addicts’ treatment has been also presented. What is underlined, is working on addicted people’s spirituality through various religious practices, which help them in developing the spiritual sphere as well as building the new system of values. The research, in which took part 30 patients, allow the author to understand the role of spirituality and perception of God. According to respondents, some religious practices as a part of therapy, enabled them to rebuilt morality as well as help them to stay sober.
